Human Rights are generally defined as the rights which every human being is supposed to have and they are to be protected by the State. All societies, associations even the States have developed certain Rights for their members, people and citizens. The present book is an attempt to study numbers issues and challenges that human beings are facing. No doubt human rights are brazenly violated. This book is an attempt to study various challenges that human beings are encountering nationally and internationally on the question of human Rights.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Joseph Benjamin has done considerable research on the problems of weaker sections of Indian Society. He has published a number of high quality articles in papers and prestigious national journals. He did his M. A. In Political Science from JNU, New Delhi in 1983 and Ph.D. from Rajasthan University in 1987. His books (i) Scheduled Castes in Indian Politics and Society, (ii) Indo-Pak Relations, (iii) Minorities in Indian Social System (in Two Volumes), (iv) Human Rights in Indian Situation, (v) Democratic Process, Foreign Policy and Human Rights in South Asia, (vi) Rejuvenation of Higher Education in India, (vii) Proceedings of National Conference on Quality Enhancement in Higher Education, (viii) Violence and Terror Siamese Twins, (ix)Conflict, Terror and Violence in Indian Society and Polity (x) Indian Society and Polity.

Currently he is a retired Associate Professor and Head, Department of Political Science, St. Francis de Sales’ College, Nagpur. He has taught in St. Francis de Sales’ College, (RTM Nagpur University) for more than 32 years. He has presented his research papers in National and International Conferences
